Earth and Olive is looking for a short term (6-9 week) independent contractor to assist in design execution through illustration, layout design, and some photography tasks. Reporting and working with our Creative Director, this position all about building and protecting our client's brands through your skillset. After the 6-9 week period, the right candidate will be asked for more hours or, availability for on-call work as needed. The mid-junior graphic designer will need to travel (all expenses paid of course!) to execute/assist with original photography used for design elements.



Some Tasks

Assist in photography photoshoots (Photography experience is a huge plus)

Illustrate original icons according to Art Direction and brands

Ability to translate and protect multiple brands

Assist in Brand Guide creation

Assist in front end website design elements (No coding required)

Assist with other administrative and copy tasks as needed

Edit photography

Ability to express the hours needed for the project at hand

Creativity and a very keen sense of brand aesthetics

FAQ

How many hours will I work?

The hired candidate will work up 10-15 hours per week at the time of hire. You will be required to track and submit your hours to Payroll. The position is for has the potential for more hours after six weeks, dependent on hires availability and performance with the team.

What do I need?

We ask that you have a computer or laptop, Adobe Suites, and working smartphone.

How will I conduct/direct client calls?

We use a company app in which we will train you in using. You may also be asked to sit in on virtual video client meetings to assess clients needs with our Art Director.

Do I need a working email?

We will provide you with a company email.

What is the pay for this position?

Payment begins at 22/h
